Youth Group.

• High School (grades 9-12) - Sundays 4:00-6:00 PM

• Middle School (grades 6-8) - Sundays 5:30-7:30 PM

Clemmons:One youth is a time of fellowship, prayer, worship, and engagement with Scripture through a lesson and/or activity. We invite any and all youth to join us as we unravel the beauty, compassion, and mystery of God!

Each night we have dinner together as Clemmons:One (High School and Middle School). Dinner is served from 5:30-6:00 each night that youth meets. This is a time for us to discuss upcoming events and fellowship with one another. Come hungry!

Lastly, we, as Clemmons:One, have promised that our time at youth is a safe space. What is shared in youth, stays in youth. We will support, encourage, and love each and every youth who walks through our door as Christ has taught us to love. What is shared within youth will not find its way back into the halls of school or the ball field.

Events/Projects.

We are called to be the hands and feet of Christ not only within our family and church, but within the larger community and world. Clemmons:One has a lot going on for:

• spiritual renewal through youth retreats (Fall Mountain retreat for High School / Beach retreat for Middle School)

• service through visits to nursing homes, small home repairs and yard clean-up for those in need, caring for the homeless community, and much more

• fellowship through mystery trips, all-nighters, and coming soon, small Bible groups

• community through partnering up with the CUMC Preschool and children’s program for a Fall Festival, serving with local food pantries and homeless shelters, and more

Missions.

Each Summer Clemmons:One joins with Carolina Cross Connection (CCC) on the mission field. This phenomenal organization has impacted the lives of thousands within the communities in which CCC serves but also the thousands of youth that walk the walk Jesus called us for. Here is a complete listing our our CCC opportunities and dates for payments: CCC 2022 Summer Opportunities. There are three opportunities to serve with Carolina Cross Connection:

Home Repair: July 17th - July 23rd, 2022

• For a week during the Summer, rising 8th -12th graders work to build wheelchair ramps, porches, steps, paint homes, install underpinning, yard work, and more for families in need

• Cost to Attend: $465 (scholarships available)

• Registration of $100 due November 14th

Urban Ministry: July 10th - 16th, 2022

• For a week during the Summer, rising 8th - 12th graders work to build relationships and serve alongside our friends experiencing homelessness in Asheville, North Carolina.

• Cost to Attend: $375 (scholarships available)

• Registration of $100 due November 14th

Overseas (Honduras): June 27th - July 4th (Rising 9th - Rising 12th graders)

• For a week during the Summer, youth work with children living in Children’s Homes in Honduras. This ministry completes work projects as well as build relationships with the children.

• Cost to Attend: $2,100
